Privacy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
Plures is built to know as little about you as possible.
What the app collects
- Nothing, by default. No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry. Your URLs, captures, and videos never leave your Mac.
- Update checks. The direct-download version uses Sparkle to check for updates, which sends a standard HTTP request (app version, macOS version) to our update server. That's it.
- License activation. Validating a license key happens entirely on your machine — keys are verified offline.
What the website collects
plures.app serves static files. We don't run analytics scripts or set tracking cookies. Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, whose own privacy policy applies to checkout.
What we store when you buy
Our payment processor handles your payment details — we never see your card number. We retain your email address and license key so we can look up your purchase for support and refunds.
Three services touch your purchase data on our behalf: Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record) processes the order, Resend delivers your license key email, and Vercel hosts the function that issues the key (it processes your order in memory and doesn't store it). Want your data deleted? Email us and we'll handle it, including with these providers.
